Daniel Nelson, a club owner from Los Angeles, was looking to have his '65 Lincoln Continental convertible transformed into a shiny, over-the-top reflection of himself - with a Welder Up spin. Upon arrival, the body and the motor were in rough shape. The old paint was sanded off and the body was repaired and prepped for the multicolor sparkle-infused flat black paint job. Gloss black paint was applied to the trim pieces to help create a Zoot Suit appearance. The motor received major attention and the transmission was repaired. The upholstery was designed to look like a suit - complete with a red bow tie - and cowhide was incorporated into the interior as an accent. The door panels were embellished with coins and vintage cuff links imprinted with the letter "N" and a shot glass was repurposed to create a unique shifter. To top it off, a new bright white ragtop was installed and the mechanics were repaired.
